Dubai Shopping Festival 2013 - All that you Need

The City of Gold, Dubai, commemorates the start of every New Year with their extravagant celebration. The Dubai Shopping Festival also known as DSF began in the year 1996. It is celebrated in the beginning of every year for a span of about a month. This festival has made Dubai a known place for shopping since then. People from all over the world travel and partake in this extravaganza. The organizers ensure that every guest get the best during the stay, keeping up the hospitality. Also, the best part about shopping festival in Dubai is the tax free shopping that entices every buyer. Not only heavy concessions but the festival also exhibits many spectacular events.

Cultural shows, film festivals, street plays, classy juggling, music concerts, international shows, fashion parades, dances, sports and fireworks are the entertaining events at the shopping festival. To name a few,  ‘Global Village’ known for its fun rides, performances, variety of cuisines and of course shopping! The ‘Carpet and Art Oasis’, is one of the long running event that was inaugurated a week before the Dubai shopping festival 2013 commenced. This exhibition features an array of carpets attracting many consumers. The ‘Global Village’ and ‘Carpet and Art Oasis’ is considered as the signature events. The ‘Falconry tournament’ is the sporty event that carries forward the cultural history of heritage of Emirates through sports. These are just a few; however there is an endless list of programs that showcases the city’s history and heritage. These programs can accommodate people of all age groups and ensures that everyone is a part of it.

Dubai Shopping Festival 2013 is like a sequel to Dubai shopping Festival 2012, bearing the motto “Dubai at its Best”. This festival augments Dubai’s economic status and also promotes tourism.
